Salacia is a woody climbing plant used in Ayurvedic and traditional Sri Lankan medicine to support healthy blood sugar metabolism. Its active compounds, salacinol and kotalanol, help slow carbohydrate absorption in the digestive tract.
Salacia supports weight management by helping regulate how your body processes sugars and carbohydrates after meals. Studies indicate it may help reduce post-meal blood sugar spikes, which supports steadier energy and fewer cravings throughout the day.
